Meet the people who lived in Thame before you – From Early Neolithic to Bronze Age; from Iron Age to Roman Britain and the early Anglo-Saxons periods.

Discover previously unknown local history : how they lived, what they ate, how they farmed and what amazing skills they developed.
Join us on a 6000 year journey, as we bring some of these people to life, in an imagined reconstruction of their everyday lives and featuring a few of the everyday artefacts found during the Thame Meadows Dig.
A Must See exhibition for all the family.
Thame Meadows is an area of land off the Oxford Road. In 2015 it became the site of a major archaeological excavation. The dig was undertaken by
Oxford Cotswold Archaeology.
Thame Meadows is by far the most significant site to have been investigated in the Thames Valley.
Opening Saturday 24th May and running
until end of August
