An embroidered cloth with the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry regimental crest, made by Mr Cecil Aldridge whilst a prisoner of war during WWII
Cecil was captured at Cassel, 16 miles SSE of Dunkirk and was imprisoned in Stalag XXA Thorn (Toruń) in Poland.
The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry existed from 1881 until 1958 and served in the Second Boer War, World War I and World War II. Later it merged with two other regiments to form the Royal Green Jackets.

Also in Cabinet 6 is a metal button and a metal badge, each showing the insignia of the Oxfordshire and Bucks Light Infantry. These were often given as souvenirs to family and friends.
