Long queues of very excited youngsters formed outside the museum yesterday Wednesday 29th May to greet the Fire-fighters who came to visit.
The visit was a great success with over 130 visitors during the day. There was lots to do – not just climbing aboard the fire-engine, but also a talk given by one of the fire-fighters, and Safety and Fire Departments activity sheets to work through. The event was free and the children were given stickers to wear for taking part. A fun few hours were had by all.
